A self-retaining retractor that holds wound edges open without an assistant, freeing both hands for the operative procedure. Sharp or blunt outward-curving tines lock open via a ratchet mechanism. Available in 2×3 and 3×4 tine configurations, 16cm and 21cm. Manufactured from surgical stainless steel. Used in neurosurgery, orthopaedic, and general surgery.
